Is Big Bang a Fact, Hypothesis or Theory?

To know the answer of what exactly Big Bang Is? We first must know some basic knowledge about the Big Bang.

The Big Bang Theory is a cosmological model of the observable universe from the earliest known periods through its subsequent large-scale evolution, according to Wikipedia.

Now it's my turn to describe Big-Bang. Before going deeper into this I want to say that whatever I am going to share in this article, each idea is taken from several different articles that I have read about Big Bang. Now I can begin.

Big Bang is a fact that the universe has expanded, and that it was hotter and denser before. We know this because we can observe the expansion, and we can even see the blackbody radiation from the hot dense state in the shape of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation.

This is explained in the Big Bang theory, which builds on the theory of general relativity and which fits the facts pretty well. It explains very well how we got from the very hot dense state to where we are today. There are some unknowns, like dark matter and dark energy, which has great importance for the future development of the universe, but in general, the theory works very well.

But the theory only goes so far. At the Planck epoch, the first 10^(-42) seconds, the theory we have doesn’t work anymore. We need a theory on quantum gravity, and we don’t have one because general relativity doesn’t play nice with quantum mechanics. After the Planck epoch, they work fine by not touching one another and fit what we observe in the universe and our particle accelerators. So at the Planck epoch and before, we’re at hypotheses.

That's all in this article. I hope you enjoyed it. Please share it with everyone and do comment below. I want to know your views about the Big Bang.

Cheers!
