According to General Theory of Relativity, black holes are empty, completely empty. All of their mass is predicted to be concentrated into a dimensionless point called the singularity.
We cannot glimpse what lies inside the event horizon of a black hole because light or material from there can never reach us. Even if we could send an explorer into the black hole, he or she could never communicate back to us.
To know what's inside a black hole, we need something to come out from behind the Event Horizon, and reach us via a telescope. The easiest thing for astronomers would be light. But a black hole is so massive not even light can escape so no information can get out. What I mean is that light gets redshifted to such a high degree that it can no longer be detected!
Inside the event horizon is where physics goes crazy. Calculations suggest that what the fabric of spacetime looks like inside a black hole depends on that particular black hole’s history. It might be turbulent, twisted, or any other number of things.
We can't know what exactly is going on inside a black hole. To make this happen, we need something that can parse through black hole, but currently nothing like it exists.
