Why are Black Holes so bright?

Black holes are one of the brightest objects in the universe. Well, according to definition nothing can escape from the black hole, not even light. So, what is the reason behind their brightness?

What are Black Holes?

A black hole is a region of spacetime with such a high gravitational power that nothing can escape it, not even electromagnetic radiation.

If nothing can bypass black holes, then how they are so bright? What is the reason behind their brightness?

The Reason

Black holes are not alone. They are typically surrounded by blazing clouds of hot gas. As these clouds were attracted to black hole due to its high gravitational pull, they started spiraling around the black holes creating cosmic auras around the darkest place in the galaxy.

Wait. There is one more way of explaining this. When any object is orbiting a black hole, the closer side of the object will be orbiting faster than the farther, this tends to break the object. The friction is so high that it can heat the particles hotter than most stars. And since a lot of material can orbit a black hole, so there is a lot of fuel to keep it shining.

The End Notes

Black holes do not shine forever. They eventually go dark as their size increases. That's all from my side. Please drop your views in the comments below.

Cheers!
