Why we choose Mars for colonization?

Life on Earth is very much beautiful, but peoples may have to face a big problem in Future because of extensive growth in Population, Pollution and lack of resources to manage such big population. That's why it is important to search for a next spot of life, and we choose the Red Planet which is nearest to us. Well, I said 'Red' because it is wholly covered with Ferric Oxide.

After Earth mars is the most habitable planet in our solar system due to several reasons:

  1. Its soil contains water to extract.

  2. It isn’t too cold or too hot.

  3. There is enough sunlight to use solar panels.

  4. Gravity on Mars is 38% that of our Earth's, which is believed by many to be sufficient for the human body to adapt to.

  5. It has an atmosphere (albeit a thin one) that offers protection from cosmic and the Sun's radiation.

  6. The day/night rhythm is very similar to ours here on Earth: a Mars day is 24 hours, 39 minutes and 35 seconds.

Why not other Planets?

The only two celestial bodies near Earth are Moon and Venus.

We cannot choose Moon because it has a very few amount of Resources. Although, it doesn't have an atmosphere to protect us against Radiations and a Moon day took a month to complete.

On the other hand we have Venus, choosing it is equal to choosing Death. The average temperature at Venus is around 400 degrees. Also, it has occasional pouts of Acid Rain. And some nights there lasts for 120 Earth days.

I know that Humans cannot live on Mars without the help of technology, but compared to Venus it's paradise!

The hypothetical colonization of Mars has received interest from public space agencies and private corporations, and has received extensive treatment in science fiction writing, film, and other mediums.

Well, that's all on this article. I will really post more about Public and Private sectors Mission to Mars. The ideas are really crazy and I will make sure that you will gain something from every post. If you like it, please share it along your Friends and Family.

Cheers!
