So, this post is not just to prove that 1=2. It is to tell you something important. So, please go through the full post.
1. Let us suppose,
a=b
2. Now multiplying a both sides we get,
a*a= a*b
3. Subtracting b*b from both sides, we get
a*a-b*b=a*b-b*b
4. Now, we have
(a+b)(a-b)=b(a-b)
5. Dividing (a-b) both sides, we get
a+b=b
6. We have a=b, substituting a from LHS
b+b=b
2b=b
7. Dividing b from both sides, we get
2=1
Is mathematics wrong? No.
In step 5 when we divide (a-b) both sides, we actually did something very confusing. As a=b, then a-b=0. We actually divided both sides by 0 which creates such mess. That means division from 0 can possibly create mess of mathematics. Well, what are your views about division by Zero please comment below or post them freely on Mathematics Research Forum of this Website.
Cheers!
